External cleaning and repairs to the terracotta and brick façade of this Grade 2* Listed building.
The terracotta decorative and figurative panels are particularly fine but now require extensive refurbishment after environmental corrosion and previous poor repair works.
Previous projects include a planned office/residential development over the Theatre roof.
All works were programmed to minimise the effect on the normal operations and performances at the theatre and auditions and rehearsals and were undertaken in full consultation with English Heritage.
