West Blatchington Mill
BAQUS were quantity surveyors for the Mill where the works were to establish the current condition of the structure of the Grade II* listed building and make recommendations for remedial works to be carried out by a qualified contractor in a timely and cost-effective manner, remaining sympathetic to the heritage of the existing building.
We project managed repairs to the fantail, the replacement of decayed external weatherboarding and roofing stage decking.
Other Works Included External Redecorations To The Mill And Adjacent Barn.
BAQUS Submitted This Project For A Sussex Heritage Award And The Team Were Pleased When It Won The ‘Public And Community Award’ On July 14th 2017.
