Baqus provided Project Management services on the recently completed hotel in Sandwich for Travelodge. The town of Sandwich welcomes its first branded hotel located in Discovery Park, a 75-room hotel which features an on-site restaurant called the Bar Cafe and on-site car-parking. It represents a multi-million investment in the region and has created 360 new jobs within the community.

The hotel is located close to the nearby Royal St George’s Golf Club, which recently hosted The Open 2021. Baqus clearly has “its eye on the ball” with the niche delivery of hotels at The Open Championship Golf venues . We have been involved in various roles delivering hotels at St Andrews, Birkdale, Hoylake, Lytham St Annes and now Sandwich. Rob McNeill our Chairman notes that Troon and Port Rush are hosting The Open in 2024 and 2025 respectively and if any Developer is looking for advice then now is the time to OPEN up discussions with Baqus.
