The new soundstages at Elstree Studios have been completed, Baqus provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services. Set to create an even brighter future for the borough’s film and TV industry, The Platinum Stages are named in honour of Her Majesty the Queen’s jubilee year. This development comes as a result of the multi-million pound investment in the studios’ future.

James Jacobs, Director at Baqus, said: “We were delighted to lead the design team in the delivery of this exciting project. The new studios will provide excellent opportunities to the local area as well as continue Elstree Studios’ long history of delivering top-class facilities for film and TV. On a more personal note, it has been a real honour to work with Elstree Studios as growing up in the area I always saw the studios and wondered what happened behind the scenes. We would like to thank Hertsmere Borough Council, Elstree Studios, RG Carter and our design team for the outstanding service provided and look forward to working with them all again in the future.”
